About Docklands
Docklands is located in the heart of Melbourne, at the western edge of the CBD with which it is rapidly integrating. It comprises the area from Spencer Street to the east and the Bolte Bridge to the west, Footscray Road to the north and Lorimer Street to the south.

Docklands comprises the waterways of Victoria Harbour and three kilometres of Yarra River frontage. It is similar in size to Melbourne’s Central Business District.

Docklands’ central location makes it easy to get to by car, train, tram, ferry, bike or on foot.

How to get to Docklands Arts, Laughs & Blues Festival events by public transport

Train - Southern Cross Station sits at the gateway to Docklands and provides easy access for metropolitan commuters & regional visitors.

Tram - From Flinders Street Station you can catch the #70 Tram or the free City Circle from the corner of Flinders Street and Swanston Street.

From Southern Cross Station you can catch the #86 tram from the corner of Spencer Street & Bourke Street. Take the tram in the direction of Waterfront City/ Harbour Town and get off the tram at Harbour Town Shopping Centre in Docklands.

Bicycle - Four major bike trails converging in Docklands

On Foot - There is easy access to the CBD via the Bourke St Pedestrian Bridge, Flinders, Collins & Latrobe Streets.

It is approx. a 25 minute walk from the Melbourne Town Hall.

By Water - Ferries, charter boat services and corporate cruising vessels dropping off and picking up in Victoria Harbour

If you want to travel by car it is a 20 minute drive to Melbourne Airport at Tullamarine and there are over 5,000 public car parking spaces in Docklands.
